We Are More Than Just A Venue

What's Actually Included When You Get a Rimrock Ranch Estimate

When you get a Rimrock Ranch estimate, you're not looking at just a rental fee. You're looking at a weekend: lodging, infrastructure, staffing, furniture, logistics, and a team that genuinely wants your event to go beautifully. Once people realize what's in the number, the conversation usually changes pretty fast.

So let's break it down.

A Two-Night Stay for 22 Guests, On Site

This is the one that surprises people most. Your estimate includes two nights of accommodations for up to 22 guestsacross our 11 beds: our four historic 1940s cabins, the Lodge, the Airstream, and the Hatch House. Your people arrive Friday, settle into the desert, wake up Saturday for the big day, and ease into Sunday before heading home. No scrambling for hotel blocks. No guests missing the rehearsal dinner because they're still checking in somewhere down the highway.

Having your closest people on the property isn't just convenient. It makes the whole weekend feel like the celebration it's supposed to be.

Event Managers and Staff Who Are Invested in Your Day

We're not just handing you the keys and wishing you luck. Rimrock Ranch event managers are on site and on your team. We work with you during the planning process, communicating with your wedding planner or directly with you as a couple, to think through every detail of how to pull off the most successful event possible. Logistics, flow, timing, what works in the desert, what doesn't. We've been doing this a long time and we share everything we know.

On the day itself, we're here. That means you're not the one tracking down vendors or troubleshooting on your wedding day.

We’re on the Grid.

One of the biggest hidden costs couples don't anticipate for desert venues is power. Not here. Rimrock Ranch has power throughout the entire property. Lighting, sound, whatever your vendors need. It's covered. The only time generators come into play is for cooking, and honestly, most couples handle that beautifully with food trucks or grills anyway. No generator fees hiding in your catering invoice. No surprise add-ons.

(And if all else fails, we have backup too!)

Waste Services

It's not glamorous, but someone has to think about it. We do. Waste services are included, so you and your vendors aren't left figuring out logistics that have nothing to do with celebrating your marriage.

Cold Storage: Commercial Fridges and Freezers

Flowers. Catering prep. Beverages. The desert is warm. Having access to commercial refrigeration and freezer spaceon-site is something your florist and caterers will thank you for. It's one of those things you don't think about until you need it, and we've thought about it for you.

Vendor Management On Site

We've worked with enough weddings to know that the day runs smoother when someone is keeping an eye on all the moving parts. Our team handles on-site vendor management: coordinating arrivals, answering questions, making sure everyone knows where to be and when. You hired good vendors. We help them do their best work.

Tables and Chairs

Tables for up to 180 guests and chairs for up to 50 are included. For larger parties, most couples bring in additional chairs through their rental company, but having a significant base already on site keeps those costs lower than you'd expect.

Parking Management and a Real Parking Lot

We have a dedicated parking lot and staff to manage it. Guests aren't parking in the scrub. Nobody is blocking a neighbor's driveway. It's orderly and easy, and your guests will notice.

And Then There's the Location Itself

Here's the thing nobody talks about enough with desert venues: we are right off the pavement. Easy to find. No white-knuckling it down a dirt road in the dark after the reception. No guests calling you in a panic because their GPS gave up. Rimrock Ranch is accessible, clearly marked, and simple to navigate for you, your vendors, and every single one of your guests.

Room for Everyone, Even Beyond the Ranch

For larger guest lists, our Rimrock neighborhood has Airbnbs that sleep another 40–50 people, within walking distance or a very short, can't-miss-it drive. We even have a curated list to share so you're not spending hours searching.

The Bottom Line

When you add up what's included (the lodging, the staffing, the power, the cold storage, the furniture, the parking, the vendor support, the planning time with our team) you're not paying for a field with a view. You're paying for a full-service desert wedding experience at a venue that has worked hard to get everything right.

We think it's worth it. And we think once you see the whole picture, you might too.

When Should I Book?

It’s a question we hear all the time: “When should I book my wedding?”

The short answer? Sooner than you think — especially if you’re dreaming of a Fall 2026 date.

Here’s why: engagement season is right around the corner. Between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day, nearly half of all proposals happen — and once that ring is on, couples start hunting for venues. By early spring, the best fall weekends are usually spoken for, especially in popular desert destinations like ours.

At Rimrock Ranch, we host a limited number of weddings each year simply because of our seasonal weather patterns. The desert gives us those perfect spring and fall windows — mild temperatures, incredible sunsets, and that signature high desert light — but summer heat and winter chill mean our booking season is shorter than most.

So, if you’re considering a Fall 2026 wedding, here’s what to keep in mind:

1. You’ll Have More Dates to Choose From

The earlier you book, the more likely you’ll land your dream weekend — maybe it’s that golden October light or a cozy November celebration before the holidays kick in.

2. You’ll Secure This Year’s Rates

Venue pricing typically adjusts each year to reflect rising costs and demand. Booking early locks in current rates and gives you more control over your budget.

3. You’ll Be Ready Before the Rush

Once engagement season hits, response times slow across the entire wedding world — venues, planners, photographers, you name it. Booking now means you’ll have our full attention and plenty of time to plan without pressure.

We know that finding the right venue is one of the biggest decisions in the wedding process, and we want you to have the space and clarity to make it.

So if you’ve been eyeing a Fall 2026 weekend at Rimrock Ranch, now’s the time to reach out. We’d love to walk you through available dates, what’s included, and how to make the most of the desert season.

I See You Are An Approved Venue, What Does That Mean?

At Rimrock Ranch, we take pride in being more than just a beautiful desert destination — we are a fully licensed and approved venue by San Bernardino County, dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests and community. As a licensed motel and a county-approved event venue, we operate with the highest standards of professionalism, care, and accountability.

Our licensing isn’t just a piece of paper; it represents years of hard work, investment, and collaboration with local agencies to ensure Rimrock Ranch meets all safety, hospitality, and zoning requirements. This commitment sets us apart from pop-up operations or one-off homeowners hosting events without the proper permissions or infrastructure. We’ve worked hard to create a space where guests can celebrate milestones, enjoy the desert’s natural beauty, and trust that their experience is safe, seamless, and fully supported.

Being a licensed motel means our accommodations are designed for comfort and convenience, while being held to hospitality standards that ensure a great stay for every guest. As an approved venue, we have the facilities and expertise to host weddings, retreats, and gatherings responsibly, while respecting our neighbors and the land we love.

We’re proud to be a part of this community and to contribute to its growth and reputation as a unique destination. At Rimrock Ranch, you’re not just choosing a venue — you’re supporting a responsible, experienced team who has made a long-term commitment to this incredible corner of the desert.

Trust your event to a county approved venue.

Who Caters Out Here?

Since our bookings are typically for the full weekend, the Friday nights are typically chill options like pizza (we love I FALL TO PIZZAS!)  or tacos (check out local taco vendor LA CAGUAMA), or sometimes BBQ (give Coachella Valley BBQ a try!).

Saturday usually is the main event and folks ted to gravitate to food trucks (Harvest Kitchen & Border Grill, Flavor Chef, local caterers making homemade ingredients (Cahoots Grub & No Worries Chefs) and even some help from lux options from Palm Springs like F10 Catering, and sometimes even the coast— such as MiHo and Chef Joann

The only rule is that most caterers (99% of them) need to be self contained and not reliant on on our facilities. The only time this guidelines is flexible is if the event is super small, but please obtain permission to waive this guideline.
